F1 Spanish Grand Prix
Located in the rolling mountains of Montmelo, the Catalunya Spanish Grand Prix is in many ways, the original. As always, Elite Sports Travel brings you this iconic race taking place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and it is the oldest in the world, still contested.
Lewis Hamilton still holds the joint most number of wins at this circuit, shared with one M. Schumacher – and given that Ferrari, Lewis’ new team, has won here, twice as many times as anybody else – this is a place where magic can happen.
This year marks the final year for Catalunya before it moves to Madrid so we can all expect a Swan Song and an incredible event with all the stops pulled out – be there, when it happens!

Beautiful Barcelona
Your time at Catalunya also means time spent in and around Barcelona and what a beautiful and unique place it is. You will have a choice of the Sercotel Rosellon, Majestic Hotel & Spa and the glorious Mandarin Oriental with it’s brilliant location just steps from Casa Batllo and with it’s glorious spa facilities. From any of those hotels you can enjoy the mountain to beach via a good dose of culture which Barcelona provides.
Viewing the Sagrada Familia, strolling Las Ramblas and a sunset walk on the beach after a day’s racing and dinner on one of the many terraces. One of the most comprehensive and romantic of the F1 dates but also a fantastic location for group trips – Barcelona parties are very, very hard to beat. A driver and team favourite!
