F1 Italian Grand Prix
Steeped in class, style and breathtaking racing, the Italian grand prix has been held more times than any other Grand Prix ever and bar the first race in 1921, has been held at the Monza circuit pretty much ever since. Only Brooklands and Indianapolis are older.
However – Monza is no elderly statesman… it is the ‘Temple Of Speed’… one of the fastest tracks on the circuit and if you know where to find them, you can sit on banked sections of the old track to watch cars race past on the new one. That along with the start/finish podium overhand and the beautiful walled parkland of Royal Monza in which the course is located make this a majestic location.
A stone’s throw from Milan itself, this city surely needs no introduction… Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper,” in the Santa Maria delle Grazie, the glass domed Galleria VE II for the most stylish shopping, the Duomo and other ‘cathedrals’ of sport, AC & Inter Milan topped off with the best eateries in the world and a night at La Scala!
